A Rare Early 18th Century Turned Yew Wood Candlestick

Having quite a complicated turned foot, rising to a heavily turned column, with central disc between two balusters. The top widens to accommodate the candlesocket.

Good, rich, dark patina.

English, circa 1740.

Height 7.25 inches.
